No witty title, yet again.

So, have I told anyone that I love being pregnant? Because I do. I am really one of those women who could carry children for others and be perfectly happy. But there's something new this pregnancy that's got me a little.... twitchy....

You see, at night, Aaron and I tend to cuddle and talk about our day a little, or talk about whatever odd thoughts hit us (quotes from Princess Bride, Monty Python, anecdotes about stupid people, etc.) and just relax a bit before we go to sleep. Well, I'll be in the middle of a sentence, something like, "So, your kid said today that he was going to marry TWITCH TWITCH Laurel and Lily TWITCH TWITCH." And my whole upper body will twitch. Aaron will giggle. And I'll giggle. And then it happens again. And again. And again. Until the twitching goes from TWITCH to TWITCH to TWITCH. Then it is done. But woe to me if I wake up in the middle of the night, because the twitching will start again.

At first, we were worried about it. Then I did some research on the wonderful web. One remedy-- increasing your calcium. So I'll be eating lots of yogurt from now on. Now we're more amused by my nighttime entertainment.... Aaron's more amused than I am.... I get annoyed after about 10 minutes. :) And apparently, this happens to pregnant women commonly, but usually in the legs. Do you think it's because my legs are so short that there aren't enough muscles to twitch? :) Hmm....

In other news, did I tell y'all that the baby is big??? :) Well, ok, as big as can be expected at 5.5 weeks... The dr. said that they like the babies to be about 10mm at this age. And our baby is 13 mm. YAY! Gonna have me a biggun! :) Heck, Ethan's pediatrician said that the Hethan is on target to be over 6 feet tall. The child at age three wears size 11 shoes. It wouldn't surprise me if my next one is just as big. And all from a mother under five feet tall, and a daddy who's 5'8. The kids'll tower over me by the time they're 5! :)

Have a great night. I'm off to watch my favorite episode of Little House... well, maybe not my favorite episode, but one of them. Yeah, I'm a geek. M*A*S*H, Little House, Buffy, yeah. Have fun!

Hope the twitchin stops soon!

My older daughter will be three in December. She is on target to be 5'11" and is currently wearing size 4T clothes and size 10 shoes. Sigh... I can no longer buy clothes a season or a year ahead because she keeps having random growth spurts! Bummer!
