Placenta Brain

I blame everything that happened last week on the baby. She's taking all of my brain cells and my emotions and sucking them into the placenta. It is all her fault.

On Monday, I picked a rip roaring fight with a friend. I cried a lot.

On Tuesday, I continued said fight, then apologized. Nothing got any better.

On Wednesday, I learned said friend had withdrawn her child from our preschool because of me. I packed a bag and got in the car to go away for a while, the emotions were too much. Ended up at Emily's. Kidnapped her and the youngest nephew that night and brought them home with me.

On Thursday, I forgot how to turn off my car. Tried to put a can of soup in the refrigerator. Freaked out when I saw that I had missed a call from home on my cell phone at 11.21 am--- there shouldn't have been anyone in my house, since Aaron was at
work and I was on my way to pick up Ethan. Was about to call the police when I realized that the call was from ME, trying to locate my cell phone before I dashed out of the house to pick up Ethan.

On Friday, I went swimming with Ethan at the Y and left my brand new bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the locker room. My hair is suffering.

On Saturday, I had an insatiable appetite. Literally ate everything in sight. Literally. I felt like Homer on last night's Treehouse of Horror.

On Sunday, well, it wasn't too bad, except for forgetting words here and there when I was trying to teach Sunday School.

And now, it is Monday. I'm gonna start over. I'm gonna not pick fights. I'm gonna not kidnap people. I'm gonna not forget how to do basic things. I'm gonna buy new hair and body wash. I'm gonna eat sensibly. I'm gonna carry the thesaurus around with me.

Good things: Baby Girl was so active last night that Aaron could see my tummy moving. She was dancing to the voices on "My Name is Earl." Quite amusing, really!

Other Good things: My mom and I got to visit this weekend. Ethan has become sweet again, for the most part and keeps asking for cuddles. Not to mention the child is reading!!!! :)

God is good, all the time, God is good.

I have to say... I was reading through this... and it wasn't until I got to:
"On Friday, I went swimming with Ethan at the Y and left my brand new bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the locker room."
that I went, OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Poor Jenetter.... it's been a rough week for you. I was thinking about you, sweetpea. God's mercy is new every day.
