Memories

Yesterday, as I was walking through Biggs, I meandered through the garden stuff. I saw these valves that you can use to re direct the water in your hose. And all of a sudden, I started to cry. Because in my mind, I could see my grandpa bending over and turning one of those valves for irrigating the greenhouses.

Memories hit so hard sometimes.

Jenette,

I know exactly what you mean. The strangest things trigger certain memories of certain people in me. That's part of the reason I have my list of places that are "off-limits." I just can't bring myself to go there because I know certain feelings or memories will be stirred up. Just thought it might comfort you to know you are definitely not alone.

So true. Memories can be a blessing or a total b!tch. ((BIG HUGS))

The 4th of July was always special when my Dad was alive b/c his bday is on the 5th of July. I can barely suffer thru the 4th of July since he died nearly 11 yrs ago. Too many memories, both wonderful and horrible at the same time. It's tough. Love to you, J.
